BODIES...The Exhibition - any good?

Its excellent in my opinion. budget 2 hours at least, read everything there that you can.

Wow, thanks.
They took over a mexican restaraunt here, maybe
the residual smell will mask any body odors, if there are any.

there are no odors, nothing bad at least. It smells clean, or chemically if anything. The bodies have gone through a multi step preservation process. They will explain it all to you (in writing or through the audio tour). Depending on what parts of the body they are displaying (e.g. circulatory system, nervous system, muscles, etc.) the process can be slightly different.

All in all its facinating and will give you a look at some body structures you have likely never seen at all, and will probably never see firsthand again.

awesome

Someone said "those poor souls", as if it was barbaric to donate your dead form for instruction. I don't see it that way, it like the lions club, donate your eye retinas, after you are dead, program. I have no problems with it.

The bodies weren't exactly donated. Watch out for protesters. The exhibit is excellent!

It was pretty cool. A little too much freeze dried wang though (and I don't mean asian guys).

Cheers,
Scotsman

Saw it when it was here in Dallas. VERY COOL. Plunk down a couple bucks to get the headphone-tour thingie... makes the exhibit much more interesting IMHO.
