Bloodtest

Bourget

New member
Ignorant maybe, but I'm finishing up my first cycle and I will be getting blood work done. What should I ask thrm to test for? I can go to my family doctor for this?

Thanks

Just tell him you want everything done Test levels everything..It's your Doctor so he can not give out your info I use the same Doctor as my mother and i tell him Imon Juice he cant say anything to anyone so you dont have to worry about that..The more he knows of what your on the more he'll know exactly what to look for

I disagree. I would not tell him you're on, not unless you have a damn good reason to. I would not have test levels tested if you just finished your cycle either. When did you finish your PCT? If you are going for blood test though I'd have him check your blood lipids (fasting so they can break down HDL, LDL, VLDL) and LFT (liver finction). There will be alot of other info that will come back with these tests also. Keep in mind, depending on when you finished your cylce and what you were taking these values may all be skewed from normal. Still, good info to know though. Good luck.

I would not tell my regular Dr. anything about aas use, that is if your at all concerned about your insurance and future coverage issues, etc... yeah, yeah I know there are "disclosure" laws, but in the real world people loose their insurance and have claims denied, so why take that chance? go to www.directlabs.com and get your testing done without the Dr., play it safe bro.

do some more reading at the doctors office. a doctor can report you if you are doing something that is endangering your health.

i had blood tests today a week after cycle finished. whats the idea of these tests?
say the results come back and say your lipids are way out and liver is in a bad way, do you wait a month have them re checked and hope for the best?

Knowing how a cycle effects your blood work is good information because it will allow you to adjust your future cycles and or suppliments to counter the negetive effects. Also, as you pointed out, it is a good idea to have a follow up test done to make sure everything returns to normal levels. After being off for the last 3 years I recently had extensive blood work done so that I have a baseline to compare to int he future. Its better to know than to stick your head in the sand and hope everything will turn out OK.....

well i dont know but i told my doc about things after a while and i am so glad i did, she monitors everything closely and lets me know if anything is going on i should know about...of course when i first said it she tried to talk me out of it but after i adamantly said i would continue to do it she said "well at least you will be doing it under supervised care"....now thats just how it worked out for me not all docs will be like this so i guess it all comes down to how much trust you put into the person giving your medical care...

Wow, thats pretty amazing that your Doc would say that. It opens up serious possibilities for future litigation issues "supervising the use of illegal drugs"... Most doctors and insurance companies dont want to have anything to do with anyone using any drug classified as illegal.
