Hi everyone, I'm just wondering when you have you blood taken at the doctors, they take quite a lot in a syringe, but when you have it done by a lab you only need to prick your finger and send a spot of blood. Something is not right somewhere.
They take a lot more blood then they actually need to do the lab work just incase the lab technician makes a mistake and they need to redo the lab work.
When a lab takes your blood, they analyze it right there so if there's any mix up they can correct it immediately.
When a doctor takes your blood, he sends it off to be analyzed.
