blood work done. NEED HELP

AMGETR

New member
So I took my blood work yesterday, got the results back today from my doctor. He said my "CK" level is extremely high, and he was asking me if my muscles hurt, if it hurt to pee, ect. I said I felt fine. So he is taking me off Accutane forever now.

I'm wondering if this could be any result from my gear use I'm taking?
500mg per week TEST E
400mg per week EQ

Could those two drugs affect my CK levels?

I'm using Tylers, nolvadex, r-ala, and multi vitamine too.

sorry to be so stuoid bro but whats ck level i had blood work done over the summer and i do not remember seing ck on there anyway i can bump this for you so some smarter bros can chime in

CK level is an indicator of muscle damage.
It may theoretically be increased by strenous exercise (causing muscle damage).
If you ever see pink urine (showing myoglobin - muscle counterpart of hemoglobin), then it is serious because myoglobin in the urine can cause kidney damage.
How high was the actual CK?

ok bro thanks i would bet that most body builders have higer than normal ck levels, what is the actuall name for that i want to check my labs qand see if mine was tested.bump for amgetr

You're most likely fine bro. I always have a high CK on my bloodwork. It's b/c of how hard we lift, we tear down a lot of muscle tissue on a constant basis. So, we have lots of CK, an indicator of muscle damage and/or breakdown. Mine gets especially high after a hard leg workout, it startles the doc sometimes but he knows now what causes it. Your gear isn't causing it directly, but through your heavier longer lifting, it is :) And btw, taking you off accutane wouldn't do anything for CK, accutane affects the liver, not muscle tissue. And I believe CK is creatine kinase for whoever asked.

Creatine kinase is an indicator of muscle or brain damage. Its produced in the heart, skeletal muscle or brain. It is often elevated after a heart attack or stroke. I have no idea why accutane would affect CK levels. Strenuous excercise definitely raises these levels temporarily. If you excercised hard prior to having blood drawn this might explain the high levels of this enzyme. BTW, normal levels are about 20-150 units of CK per liter of blood.

Thank you everyone. I am going to my doctor tomorrow to talk about my accutane usage, the possible reason why my CK level is high (now I know its from training hard), and I'm going to show him Tyler's and see if it could be from that.

I'll keep you guys updated!
