Basic test is 333 which seems low to me (I am 31). Does this seem low to you guys?

Is this something I should see a specialist about? If so, anyhone know a good doc to see in the Dallas, TX area?

Talk to Dr. JMW.......he will help you immensely.

My tests came back in the low 600's. The range I believe was about 200-900. I'd get a second test done to confirm the numbers. HRT may be an option if your numbers come up low again.

No-No. I mean, like right now get a second test.

There are too many factors IMO, to conclusively just jump on HRT like that.

For example, A poor night of sleep the night before the test can make quite a significant impact on numbers.

HRT -or- DEATH!!!!!

Agreed.

8 hours sleep, clean wake up and then the test.

After that, it should be conclusive whether he needs HRT or not.

Thanks- I am going to check into it then. I would rather work with a doc with a good rep (Dr. John) instead of an unknown in Dallas.

SURE. ALL YOU NEED IS A LOCAL DOC TO PRESCRIBE IT FOR YOU. IF LOOKING FOR INSURANCE COVERAGE, SEE A LOCAL ENDOCRINOLOGIST OR KNOWLEDGEABLE GP--GET PROPERLY DIAGNOSED AND DOCUMENTED.
