I was doing anavar at 80mg but after experiencing headachs i down to 40mg and feeling much better. I will check my pressure tomorrow now that the headachs stopped and ive lowered my dose.it's been two weeks since ive checked.

On one hand I agree with Arabian that it really isn't that high (its definitely "elevated") and you may be overusing your gear.

However, a vast majority of aas will increase your blood pressure now I'm not an MD so please never take the sole input of forums always talk to an MD.

I personally use a 1mg weekly catapress patch which you can also get in an oral version as well (several of our sponsors sell it).

Catapress is Rx'de for many reasons but primarily for increased blood pressure.

Now bere in mind I am a paraplegic and take VERY low doses in my cycles and am very happy with great results!!! But still I even get an increase in BP (140ish over high 80's) so the BP meds compliment my cycles by keeping my BP in the low/normal range (125/82 max!!).

I do this for personal reasons most importantly for long term health and increase in quality of life. Not sleeping, sweating all the time, headaches etc. SUCK!!

Just my 2cc's

It's been 2 months since my 8-week Anavar cycle (80 mg/day) and my blood pressure was 145/76. Really shocking, because in December 2009, my doctor measured 130/85, which is my normal value. So it seems that we are on the same ship :)

I will stop orals forever. I have done five oral cycles since 2008, which is too much.

one bp result means nothing.. you have to use multiple machines at multiple times to get an accurate picture of your bp. after going to the bathroom and when you are calm and not exercising.

doctors that use those automated bp monitors and hook them to your wrists or whatever can be off by 20 or more points. the machines at the drug stores usually get calibrated once every month or two.. so they are routinely off as well. the best way to check ur bp is manually by someone who knows what they are doing.

well a doctor isnt just somebody and they should know what they are doing. My blood pressure is now down since ive come down on the dose of my anavar.

never ever trust a doctors diagnosis.. always get multiple opinions.

recent example is my friends grandma had a lump in her mouth, the doctor said it was nothing.. she seeked 2 more opinions and the 3rd doctor had it checked out and turns out it was cancer.. had she not gotten more opinions she would of died for sure.

regarding blood pressure i have seen countless clients get diagnosed with high blood pressure, go on medication for years. and then when i've manually checked their bp correctly it was normal off the meds... many docs will use innacurate bp machines out of laziness and get their nurses or assistants to check you... get a high bp reading, then put you on pills for the rest of your life... i've gotten 200 over 130 readings before using those wrist bp monitors, if you do not place your wrist in the exact correct spot over your heart it will give you a bogus reading. and many nurses do not know how to correctly check bp. heck i was checked at a chiropractors office STANDING UP!! you should always be sitting
