blood doping

Does anyone know the latest on blood doping? Are they any closer to being able to start using that method?

That is a random statement if I ever saw one bro. Not a flame, but a request for some clarity b/c the question is general and unclear, atleast to me. Oh yeah, and for the record, I hate the phrase blood doping.

there are some gear out there that mimic blood doping, they actually increase the shit out of your red blood cell count, but taken in excess, it has caused many problems w/blood pressure and had bad sides, i cant remember what its called, it's in anabolics 2004

I bet your thinking of epo. Since real blood doping involved freezing blood and readministering once it had been replaced for an overall increase in blood volume, and epo does almost the same thing chemically. Very popular among endurance athletes although quite dangerous. This guy was being too vague and I suspected he was using it in the way I hate as a general way to refer to any enhancement.

My bad totally messed up. I know about blood doping. what i meant was gene manipulation. Ive read up a while back but they were still testing on mice and other animals. Has the science advanced. dont mean to sound vague but i thinking of this in my head and its not comming out how i would like.

Anadrol, Boldenone, Stanozol all have pronounced effects on RBC. Even test and deca do to a point.

To the original poster, are you talking about Myostatin blockers? Or the full on re-programming of DNA stuff?

I thought that Deca increase RBC count. Thats why they give it to AID's patients, right?

Well, for one, I did note it in my post. But that's not the primary reason why. Most people with AIDS experience severe muscle wasting/loss and deca is very good at helping them build and retain LBM.

that's way way out, dont hold your breath

yea not the myostain blockers i know a couple of supps out for that, but the whole dna process.i think its suppose to be the next thing to not worry about drug tests. plus you block the myostain gene and your huge. like that baby they were talkin about

DNA stuff is bad stuff. One gene may have a very profound influence on another gene, I hate to be the mouse involved with this idea.

yup yup, although i think it's just refrigerated bro not frozen, take a few pints of your own blood out, let your body regenerate, then reinject your own blood back in... fuck that i'd rather use gear. yes most of the gear does have a pronounced effect on RBC also...

the RBC is extracted via centrifuge. Then yes, that part is re-injected, thus increasing the Red Blood Cell count upwards of 20% Of course that can lead to heart attacks and strokes, being that the blood is "thicker". Really healthy shit, no doubt, lol.

As far as all this genetic stuff goes, I think its fucking retarded. May get someone jacked as all hell, but he'll be dead by 22, lol. Way to go!

LOL...I had always thought they froze it to store til use! Glad I never got crazy and did it then LOL. I'll stick to gear as well.

This is how some elites do it.

Do high altitude training while removing a couple of pints of blood. Train and then sleep in an slightly oxygen deprived tent. Do this for a few motnhs and your body adapts to a lower oxygen enviroment, as well as functioning on a slightly lower blood volume.

Then a few weeks before competition you move back to regular altitude with more abundant oxygen and increase your blood volume. This works especially well when the competition is at sea level or below and it's virtually indetectable. And can become ultra effective when combined with HGH theraphy and other low dosed AAS, add into the mix Elite genetics of said athlete and you got yourself a winning formula.

that is so true, but i dont think anyone on this board competes in any event seriously enough to be that dedicated. BB'ers wouldnt need to, only athletes, but yes that is a formula for success in many athletes...

You'd be surprised at the level of commitment, or insanity of some board members. I'd bet the most likely thing to be missing from the above equation is the elite genetics. We all know some of the board crazies and the "ideas" (which is too kind a word) they come up with. These dudes take their next trip to golds as seriously as an olympic gold-medal final. I'm down for serious commitment but sometimes you gotta laugh.
