Bird flu WARNINGS, what do you think ???

I have a friend that works for the state gov't in the agriculture dept. He rides all over the state testing cows. He tests their blood and all sorts of things looking for out of the ordinary or just general health clues for the state. He says they started receiving warnings from th estate dept weeks ago on this bird flu. He notes that if it gets to humans here it will spread unbelievable pace. They are getting warnings of what to look for. He says they are talking to them like it is alot more serious than we are being letton on to know. He also quit eating chicken.
I read in Time magazine lastnight to cook your chicken and eggs very well. Either way talking to him he make sit sound as if they are looking at something that is going to happen they just dont know when. He noted that they gave them a similar study from the flu in 1918 which took 50 miilion lives. He said they were told this could be much worse. Especially since the 7.1 billion dollars only is enough for 20 million ???????

Ok,

We've known about this Avian flu for about 6 years. When it started cropping up in China. The worry then was that it would mutate into a strain that could pass from human to human. It has not and it has had a lot of time to do so. You have to come in direct contact with an infected bird to catch this flu and even then I'm not sure what the transfer rate is.

Actually this country could use 50 million less people..

Im not worried, I thinks its a scare to fund another bloated government program.

Bush will do ANYTHING to increase government spending at the taxpayers exoense.. hell he fabricated a war.. you dont think he would fabricate some bullshit liek a bird flu?
