I agree. Yea its tragic that someone died but I dont think the guy is responsible for it. He should have been heavily fined and had his driving/biking priveleges taken away for a long time.

Gee, I'm suprised they didn't give him the death penalty. I can gaurentee the penalty is only that severe because he is black. Had he of been white, the sentence, if any would have been much less.

What's next, will they go after the people that work the quality control room at the tire manufacturing plant and charge them? Will they give life sentences to the board of directors at said tire manufacturing company?

No, no they won't, because the tire blowout was solely the fault of the motorcycle rider.

Chasing a bike is probably the dumbest thing on earth. In most PDs its common procedure to just take the plate number and leave. No way a standard cruiser can reach a bike.
