Beware of any company that telemarkets to come out and service your air conditioning unit. They send a salesman out, not a service technician! If they can't sell you a new unit outright, they will ice pick your compressor and let all the freon out. Then they follow up call and make the sale. BEWARE! My fiance has a heating and air company, and he tells me that this is the deal going on in Florida right now. It really pisses us off. So don't let these people who call you and offer a ridiculously low price for servicing your unit fool you. They are

His company replaced two units today because these other companies destroyed them.

Until 5 years ago, the state of Ga used liquid freon for testing petroleum compounds in soil samples...4 liters was about 800 dollars wholesale
