BACKROUND
I've gotten my friend into weight training and got him hooked pretty good because since hes a beginner but benifiting from my experience he makes nice strength gains every week.
He originally started because he wanted to beable to bench more than one of our friends whom is a naturally pretty large. (compared to us at least). I'm 6"3 started at 164 now 182 lil project is 5"8 and like 120. The friend he wished to out bench is 6"2 200IBs Doesn't lift and isn't fat. It always blows my mind hes so much heavier than I am doesn't have nearly my amount of muscle but also isn't fat liek he has lead for bones (I'm thin structured hes got a large build, he'll be ace at bodybuilding when I get him to started come may 20th)
Anyway back to the point I know my little training partner is not nearly getting enough protien in his diet and even worse not enough calories. He eats garbage mcdonalds ect.. which is probably good since he would get even less calories if he ate clean. He has also has fast metabolism.
I can tell him to eat all I want but he will never eat enough.
If I tell him to drink a shake a day he will do that. Which is why I'm looking at getting him a weight gainer. I was first thinking about just buying him peanutbutter since its cheap but I know he needs protien too so a weight gainer may be a better option.
So what I'm looking for I guess is basically what everyone wants out of a weight gainer.

high calories
good protien
good taste
As much as I detest weight gainers in place of real food I know its the only way I'm going to get my little project to get more calories in and grow better.
PS: One big driving notion for me to make grow is to show my yeat another on of my friends (who keeps trying stupid training techniques he learns from morons at college) that he should listen to what I tell him if he wants to grow. As if its not proof enough that I started training after he did, and outpaced him by a good amount and at a lower bf%
