best neurotransmitter?

GameBreaker

which product(s) will be the most productive for mental effects, not only for workouts but for concentration and studying and such. I was thinking the EAS product: neurogain or Biotest: Powerdrive..

Screw to otc shit. If you are really interested in a mental performace boost then get some Deprenyl or Piracetam.

where do you get that

do you guys know where you can get piracetam or deprenyl i been trying to find them you think i get them in mexico

Selegiline ( l-deprenyl )

DEPRENYL

Deprenyl may be one of the most effective anti-aging therapies in the world. Deprenyl works by inhibiting an enzyme that breaks down dopamine, thereby elevating dopamine levels in the brain and central nervous system. Elevated levels of dopamine can confer an antidepressant effect and increase libido. Deprenyl has extended maximum lifespan in animal studies. It is used clinically to slow the progression of Parkinson's disease and to improve the quality of life in patients who suffer from Alzheimer's disease.
In every decade after age 45, about 13% of our dopamine producing brain cells die. Deprenyl may inhibit the death of these dopamine-producing cells while maintaining youthful levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine.

Suggested dose: For healthy people, take 2 tablets a week. Anyone with symptoms of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease should take 10 mg of deprenyl per day under the care of a physician. Those taking antidepressant medications such as Prozac should not take deprenyl as there is a contraindication. There is also a contraindication with anesthetics

It can be obtain though most overseas on-line pharmacies and imported without a script in up to 50 dosage units.

Substances that increase dopamine levels, generally, like reuptake inhibitors are schedule I or II. Because a general dopamine boost is correlated with well-being/euphoria, those kind of drugs, like cocaine, have high abuse potentials. This makes me wonder about Deprenyl's efficiency, because if it increased dopamine, wouldn't it have high abuse potential? If so, then why is it not a controlled substance?

I'm sure it's more complex than what I wrote, but this is just a broad generalization. Also, I'm referring to things that generally increase dopamine, not dopamine agonists. Maybe, somehow, Deprenyl effects are more neuroprotective than dopamine boosting? or something? can someone clear this up? But how? Maybe it works over the long-haul, instead of short acting, but still I would expect the DEA to be all over it if had any (more than subtle) effect?

I've tried all the nootropic drugs when I was powerlifting in college. I think DMAE gave me the best results. Caffeine has also helped me, and seems to have a synergistic effect with DMAE.
BTW- DMAE is a precursor to acetylcholine boosting memory and cognition; it also makes you stronger. Activation of acetylcholine receptors initiates muscle contraction. I have a PhD in neuroscience and bench over 500lbs, and can honestly say DMAE help me both mentally and physically, and I use it religiously.
Note: Go to www.ebay.com type in DMAE and buy it in bulk. I got a great deal from a guy selling 1000 grams.

Deprenyl is an MAO-B inhibitor, thus it does not increase dopamine levels directly, but inhibits the breakdown of dopamine by MAO. It is very selective and acts almost entirely in the brain unless very large doses are taken (thus very little risk of cheese effect risks associated with other MAO inhibitors). Deprenyl also has neuro protective qualities since it stimulates brain cells to increase their production of natural antioxidants (SOD I think).
It has a low abuse potential since it does very little to actually increase dopamine levels itself. It is also very smooth and not addicting. Its effects can be dramatic at first, but withdrawal is usually not an issue as it seems to encourage a healthier brain metabolism, so when quitting, the metabolic or neurotransmitter pathways seem stronger, and thus benefits can be long lasting for months or even years after if there are no adverse conditions.

I've used ritalin, peracitam and dexedrine, but still prefer powerdrive stacked with a few ECA. The thing that sucks about powerdrive is that you have to take it on a completely empty stomach or the tyrosine does not get absorbed.

L-Tyrosine

At least for me, it's like taking ECA minus the shakes. :) Great for boosting dopamine.

I've heard a lot of good things about deprenyl but never tried it.

does anyone know of a better place to buy supplements?..I'm always looking for a better deal.
I bought 1000 grams of DMAE on ebay for $50 (over 1 year supply). That amount would cost me over $500 in GNC, and over $250 at dpsnutrition
