i was for a friend who shortly after the wedding got caught cheating on his wife and blamed it on me then stabbed me in the back. truthfully i think the whole "best man" thing is over rated.....

Really its no different than any other groomsmen but you hold the ring ; and you get to throw the bachelor party if you want

Never been a best man but I have been told to coordinate the bachelor party on a few occassions.
Here is the deal. If the groom says "no strippers" you get them anyway.
The bachelor party is not for him. Its for all the other guys there.
If you are not getting them tell everyone that ahead of time so they can stay home and save their money!

I'm more planning the bachelor party now.. I think we are renting a huge house out on tablerock.. couple friends got some boats so we can take them out, have the strippers on the boat, kill them after the show and drown them and we will never have to pay.. plus they are strippers so the census doesn't even know they are alive!
