What's the best birthday/x-mas/whatever present you ever got for someone. And what's the best one you've ever recieved?

I am the master of gift giving. For example, for my friends birthday last fall, I got him and his gf a couple hits of ecstacy and some viagra. That was probably the best...his girlfriend fucking loves me now.

I got another freind an autographed picture of William Shatner. Strange, yes...but the guy is a huge trekkie.

On the recieving end, I can't think of much...as I'm hard to buy for. A good friend of mine made me a birthday supper, and she _hates_ to cook...but she spent like 4 hours in the kitchen for me. That was cool.

My Mom got me a Wenger Swiss watch when I graduated high school. That was pretty sweet.

Anyway, the reason I'm posting this is that x-mas is coming up soon, and I need some ideas. Can't start to early right?

the best gift i ever got was a little toy boat that puc got me once for no reason. i guess you have to know me to understand.
he also got me a beatuiful diamond ring last year for x-mas, easily best x-mas gift i ever recieved
best b-day present i ever got was last year when my parents got me a sailboat, or a trip to europe. hard to decide.
best valentines gift i ever got was being able to spend six hours lying in pucs arms. i miss that

A trip me and a sweet friend took to Cape Hatteras
There are a lot of good memories of her from that trip.

well sailing is my passion. i've gone to several different sailing camps. i take my sisters sometime, my parents love that. on the weekends i take out my sailboat, while my parents take out the speed boat. it's nice, sailing is my escape

Some interesting replies so far. Since I'm basically a lazy bastard, I like gifts that require some thought but not a lot of effort.

I don't think I'd ever buy someone a boat though, lol. I think it would be really cool to charter a boat and sail with my friends and family to some tropical island for New Years. Maybe when I win the lottery.

The best gift I ever received was this past summer from my wife, no holiday, birthday or anything it was a little silver aum and a chain. Totally suprised me and made for a great day!

As to the given part, I wouldn't know.... I mean I've given alot of little stuff, cool stuff, exoctic stuff, expensive stuff...etc. I think you would have to poll people to figure that out! LOL!!!
