Best drug on high blood pressure when cycling
This is something that keeps coming around the board. Many of us gets HBP when doing a cycle, and that includes me. My regular B.P. is around 130/70 but after 2 weeks on any test and boom, it rises up to 160/100. Herbals won't work, nor vit C or increasing dietary potassium. Reducing salt helps, but doesn't fix it completely. So, I tried ACE inhibitors( enalapril, captopril), and they work only ( for me) in high doses or stacked with propranolol, wich I don't want to use cause I don't want to block my beta receptors.Aldosterone is great, estimulating sodium and water loss, but its anti-androgenic effects are not welcome. So, now I am on a sust/deca, BP around 160/105, headaches, and starting catapres( alfa2 agonist).I think I should leave diuretics like hidroclorotiazide/aldactone ( I don't mess with furosemide) for cutting phase.
So, what are your thoughts concerning this issue?
Is Catapres usually the best choice?
