Best cell phone brand

I've only had Nokia (and an old Samsung) so far and they were all pretty good

What brand(s) are the best for the $ these days?

Go with the network (Verizon Wireless). Can't go wrong - they manage land lines and cell phones. Don't ever get Alltel, they suck royal weenie!

I have a cheap Nokia that came with my plan. It sucks big time.

LG makes a good phone. That's what i have now.

I have a Samsung from t-Mobile and its fine. I hate my Nextel, although my current phone (Blackberry) is better than the old one (Motorola) I had. I hate Motorola phones. They have poop for battery life. Your service concerns will be highly dependant on where you're at too. t-Mobile service in Phoenix is fine. Only dead zones I have found were shared by multiple networks. I actually have to use my personal phone over my work Nextel in some work situations because I have no Nextel coverage in a couple of my locations.

The RAZRs are good skinny cell phones

Verizon is good. Go with a Motorola phone. They have the best reception. My Samsung gets two less bars then my old Motorola. I hate the Razr phone. Dont like the flip top on it and buttons are difficult to hit.
