Total HPTA suppression is irrelevant, the recovery time is what is important. As usual there are people who make assumptions that turn out to be false. Just because a specific drug will shut down your HPTA doesn't mean it will stay suppressed as long as the suppression caused by a different drug. This is new territory that should be discussed more as it is at least as important as the shutdown itself.
Anavar will of course cause HPTA suppression as do most AS, however the degree of suppression is not as severe as heavy androgenic drugs like Test. I personally have done 2 oxandrolone cycles and I kept all of my gains without using any post cycle therapy like clomid or the like. If ox truely shutdown the HPTA as hard as Test then my gains would have dissapeared rather abruptly. There was another thread about anavar and HPTA suppression a week or 2 ago and another person also claimed that blood tests showed anavar shut him down. However a week later his levels were back to normal. Again if anavar was as suppressive as some of the heavier drugs then clomid would be required to keep gains. There are plenty of us out there that can prove that to be false.
If you want to play it safe then take Clomid afterwards but most likely a week is all you'll need. As far as bridging is concerned we'd need more input from people who have tried it specifically with anavar. Also I highly doubt Primo is as kind to the HPTA as people have been lead to believe.
