Best AntiVirus Protection? Symantec vs. Norton

Those are the same. Symantec bought Norton many years ago. The main choices are Symantec, McAfee, Panda and somebody I can't think of right now. I still like Symantec.

The Engines IMO are only as good as the DAT files they use..

Go with the company that has the best response to a threat
by putting up a Dat for it quickly..

We Use Mcafee VirusScan Enterprise 7.0 and have seen good response..

I've been using it over a year now...dumped Mcaffee after they wanted to start charging me for DAT updates......

McAffee has been known to leave eternal abortions on boot up if you try to delete their program. Pisses me off daily.

I am not the only one.

Norton is OK with me.

Trend Micro PC-cillin has a pretty good response time.

I had McAfee before. I just didnt like it........mebbe just because I was new to using them then.
