..an Oscar.

Two that come to mind:

Daniel-Day Lewis in Gangs of New York
Russell Crowe in a Beautiful Mind

Me in the coworker scene when she asked "Do I look fat in these pants"

Leonardo DiCaprio playing the retaurded boy in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape"

He was totally robbed on that one.

Nearly all of Johnny Depps performances.

They are going to rip him off from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory too.

Yeah Russell Crowe did not win. But two weeks before at a European Film Award, he mouthed off to the Academy and insulted them. He's not a fan of the United States of America either. He would have won though, it was a clear cut decision for him to win. He won the year earlier for Gladiator.

Some that come to mind for me are:

Pacino in Godfather Part II ( DeNiro won but Pacino won his first Oscar for Scent of a Woman)

Mel Gibson in Braveheart

"I have yet to begin to defile myself."

A stellar performance.

Tombstone was Kilmers best work to date and he did get robbed.

A bit off topic. Clint Eastwood for Best Director for Mystic River
