Beginner: Need some advice

I know how much you all hate these types of posts from us newbs so I will try to make it as easy as possible.

I am 18 years old. Been training for around 3 years on/off. Last 8 months have been really steady and when I train , I train my hardest. I eat about 5 meals a day. Try to eat as much tuna/chicken/beef as possible. I also eat 8-10 peices of fruit and around 6 servings of veggies a day. And drink water as much as i can.

I am 6'1 and weigh 170lbs.

Me and a buddy are planning on trying out Dbol. We are just planning on buying one bottle each, which is 60 capsules, and taking 2-3 capsules a day.
I have a few questions though. Since taking such a low dosage of this should i be worried about Gyno? After reading We will also be picking up some milk thistle. I also know to watch out for intense back/calve pumps.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Before you ever think of juice:

You should know HOW MANY GRAMS OF P/C/F you consume.
Know how many meals you eat per day
Lift consistently long enough to make significant progress
I say there is no way (from the sound of you) that progress should have stopped yet in either size or lifting...

I wouldn't say thats bashing its very helpful advice hope the kid has enough common sense to listen and not rush into it like many others.
 
The reason i was planning to do this was because of a upcoming vacation. I do eat 5 meals a day, but your right i dont know how many p/c/f a day i consume.

I believe i do lift consistently enough, progress is there for sure. Me being only just 18 am bigger and stronger than most except a couple guys that go to my gym. Progress has not stopped at all yet, i believe i have a lot more room to go naturally, but was looking for a "boost" in this short time period.

I do not really want to do a "real" cycle because frankly it's too hardcore for what im looking for.
 
Sorry to be an ass, but DBOL is real steroid. Therefore its a real cycle. Vacation is the second worst reason to start the sauce

If you don't listen to the advice and decide to do D-bol, DONT! Try Anavar if you think you have to do a drug in order to get bigger. You're 6'1 and only 170lbs, sorry to say thats pretty skinny for your height. I'm 5'7 3/4 and weight 190lbs, think about that. You could gain easily if you wanted to. My advice is good ol protein and creatine. If you dont heed our advice, do Anavar....sorry guys....
 
I say run the d-bol for 4-6 weeks @15-20mg ED. Make sure your stuff is legit and not fake--LOT of fake d-bol out there b/c it is so popular. Keep your dosage low (<20 ED) and your diet high.

Do some homework on PCT and find the right drug* (single drug, clomid or nolva) for your situation if you want to keep any of your gains. Even at 18, you still might have some trouble bouncing back after a d-bol cycle.

And FWIW, I understand what you're saying about not wanting to do a "real" cycle like everyone keeps advocating. To most of the guys on this board, "real" is test and lots of it, along with a good anti-E and some strong PCT. That should DEFINITELY not be for you at this point. Anavar would be milder, but probably out of your price range if you're still in HS and living at home. So D-bol it is.

Final word? If you're smart, you'll wait on your steroid endeavors like the guys here are saying. If you're not? Then you're going to try it anyway. In either case you sound like you could be a lot heavier naturally (for your height) before gear becomes necessary. Just be safe for f**k's sake, with whatever you decide.

Just curious, but what is the first worse reason?

I agree with what everyone is saying. Dbol is more than a real steriod, its one of the most androgenic compounds out there. Listen to UFC22, if you really won't wait a few years (I remember being 18 too) then switch to a less androgenic drug, i.e. anavar or primo.

Seriously, this does sound like the people you always see in the articles in Time and 20/20 on steriods that get on roids really young, plan stupid cycles, and end up doing stupid things like get in fights or kill themselves.

Things must have changed since my day. D-bol made he happy and calmed me down when I ran it. Reforvit-B tabs, anyway...

It DOES make you feel great. Its that a lot of young folks "these days" end up doing dumb shit and feed the media what theyre looking for. They blame the roids to stay out of trouble.
 
escher thanks for the input very informative. I will be doing more research before we actually go through with it. But things i wanted to know most were about gyno and pct and certain things to avoid ie. alcohol.

I have been at this weight for some time. I was recently taking creatine actually, improved my strength and stamina in the gym but size increases were not very noticeable. I actually think i am gaining more size and losing body fat at the same time now with taking nothing.

I dont see why it is such a bad idea to take a steroid before a vacation to enhance appearance. Wouldn't it be more likely to be a one time thing than a susbtance on which to rely on.

Say i decide to not take Dbol or any steroid at that. Besides eating more what would be the next best thing. Protein? No2? Anavol ?
I know my training is quite adequate for gaining size and strength. Just looking for something to help me out.
 
And to the one post about this sounds like the 20/20 article. I am asking advice, in order to know about something you have to ask people which have experienced it firsthand. And i am not planing a stupid cycle, I was planing to take Dbol solo. Not going to mix it up with gear,deca,test etc like some of the other cycles i have been reading about.

More Carbs also. I feel that is what really makes me grow OFF CYCLE.

Are you actually recomending a dbol only cycle? This is very dumb. First he should wait till he is at least 21 or has stopped growing. Second dbol only is a waste of money. Sure you will gain some water weight and strength, but say goodby to it all after it is done.

A dbol only cycle is far from worthless, have you ever run one?
A steroid so well known for protien retention and anti-catabolism is going to add a lot more than just water and fat. Yes, its true, one can gain off of an oral-only cycle.

To address the thread topic...
Steroids are not the smartest thing to do when you're 18, since your body is still filling out naturally. I've told quite a few kids my personal experience and I'll post it again. Up until I was 18, I was practically emaciated. 6-1 and about 140lbs, lol. yeah, skinny. Good thing I was somewhat pretty and wrote good poetry, otherwise I wouldn't have even been able to get with one of the goth chicks.

I digress...Anyways, in a little over a year, I got up to 190lbs. Gained several inches on my shoulders, etc. And that was well before I even touched a weight. Point being, with no change in diet, training, etc, whatsoever, I gained 50 lbs! And, while I pretty much stopped growing upwards, my bones were still growing <-->. Dbol, and most aromatising steroids, are going to put a quick stop to future bone growth.

Don't cut yourself short, give it at least another year. I'd rather see 3, but at the least one. Let your body fully put itself together before adding exogeneous hormones.
 
rayo, major credit to you for coming on here and asking but this should not be your only research. Have you tried google for info? Spend a month or so just browsing the net until you know what to do if your kidneys start aching or your nipples get itchy or puffy and you know how to keep the gains you get after you stop taking the drug. Better yet, spend another 3 years searching.

Dbol is gear, period. You are 18 and probably still growing. Gear can stop that by closing your growth plates. After four weeks taking it your balls could be starting to shut down. Just keep exercising and stuffing your face with quality food. Give creatine a whirl.
 
Paulo is spot on! If one knows what the hell theyre doing nthhey can have a great dbol only. The problems I have with this dude using are his reasons and his readiness. 8 months of serious lifting is NOTHING. He said himself yhat he is still getting stronger all the time, that doesnt sound like someone who needs juice yet.
 
This was the type of information i was in need of. I have been doing lots of reasearch on google/yahoo and personal information from others. I talked it over with my buddy and we are going to scratch the idea of taking roids for a couple years and see how it goes until then .

We were both unaware of all the extras involved in the process...milk thistle,pct etc.So thanks to everyone for looking out for us naive lifters.

Until then I will be picking up Protein powder, creatine, and some glutamine. And will follow with a heafty and healthy diet.

I will get you posted in the near future.

Ya for sure I will be sticking around this forums, as well as others to gain as much information as possible which will further excellerate results....hopefully. haha
