it is 803 miles man... wow, I did not think it is that far... c0ould be fun tho as long as I got to funnel some beers once I got there... how far is it from denver? is there anything ot see in pueblo (besides the crazy guy wih the govt money book) - I might be able to convince my wife it would be a fun time and fly straight to denver then drive down (she works for an airline so it is practically free)

Yeah I just punched it up on rand mcnally and it said 798mi. I was pretty shocked never dreamed it was that far away.

It's only like 70 miles from denver to Pueblo. You could fly into Colorado Springs also and probably save on the ticket price. Or maybe not since your wife has the "in". Funneling beer is always allowed near strongman comps. Pueblo doesn't have a lot in the way of city stuff but some great mountains down there. Also not too far from spanish peaks. I have a good friend from pueblo so he could make suggestions on the local life.

Just looked and they fly direct to colo springs from here several times a day, it would be free... it is definietly possible... she is always wanting to take trips and it would probably be a nice relief from the heat here about august...

Hate to say it but the temp won't be much lower in Pueblo in August. It sits out in a little plain and gets hotter than shit. Will still be a lot of fun though if you make it up here.

Hmm - well I guess if it is hot, we would at least be used to it...

Wife is always wanting to use her flight benefits...

We shall see how it goes as it gets closer...
