grrrr!@ shit like this pisses me off more than anything. i dont want to sound like a fucking wacked-out, animal rights activist, but there is no excuse, whatsoever, for this DISGUSTING and mean behavior.

These bears/dogs are probably beaten and made more viscious than they would ever be otherwise. When was the last time you saw two pittbulls attack a bear in the wild??

It's acceptable in most of the rest of the world to see animals chew each other up but it's no worse than the rednecks in OK making cockfighting a political issue. I was invited to a dogfight a few months back when I was on vaccation in eastern europe, when I didnt go my hosts were pretty offended.
The worst thing involving bears has to be the fucking chinese and their bear farms where the animals are caged up in racks unable to move, have their paws cut off & household faucets stuck in them so their bile juice can be 'tapped'... that shit makes bear fights look almost humane in comparison.

That is some sick shit... read an article about the bear/dog fights a few years back...
made me sick to my stomach. They teather the bear to limit it's movement... and the dogs are brought in in rounds... even if the bear demolishes the first dogs a second set is brought in...
How awefull to be attacked by round after round of vicious dogs... just nawing at you... the dogs win when the bear rolls over in a submissive postion and gives up...

Animals in the wild try to avoid fighting unless it is either mating season or they are hungry. It is unlikely that a dog would see a grown bear as food and vice versa as there are easier targets around. Fighting carries risks and animals try to avoid big risks as it ruins their life expectancy.

Yeah but try the same with a Grizzly. Poor pitbull will be crushed. A guy I know lost his dog against a bear. The dog heard something in the woods and never came back, then the owner realized he had a 1000lbs bear coming... all the bear has to do is smack the dog.
