I was a heavyweight(I think) at 19. I took that show only because it was a teen division show and I was 20-40 pounds bigger than everyone else, but since then my size has worked against me as my 210 would no longer cut it at a higher level of competition. So, to counter this I basically have to be the freak on stage due to my genetics. I don't diet well in regards to maintaining muscle mass so a contest diet for me is a 50-60 pound drop from "offseason" weight. This means to come in dialed in at 230-250 I need to be around 280-300 "offseason. I'm genetically gifted with mass and am fairly lean at 10%, but my body likes to hold at 9-10%bf at all costs...even muscle tissue, so needless to say dieting is a ferocious battle with my stubborn fat cells that refuse to let go of thier precious energy reserves.
