why is it that the people who spend the most time on this board are the ones getting banned. I understand that certain people may get offended by others... but getting them banned is just playing their hand. If you dislike me.. send me bad karma.. or better yet, put me on ignore.

Just because you cannot take the heat, it is not fair to rid the boards of people like May, Zampon, Salami, CaptainAwesome... and everyones favorite THE STEEL BEAST.

Just think for a minute... for each of you who dislikes them.. there is someone who likes that person. They will go to another board... then we will not have the diverse crowd here. Part of the reason I like this board is because of the heat. I think it is fun... but I am not gonna really cry cause some guy "wants to beat me up at a camp"... I mean this is a chat board...... that is what it is for. A steam valve. For the MODS and members who cried to have these people banned....... you should really be ashamed of yourself.

I haven't seen them interfere at all where serious discussions are held, such as on the war, politics etc, so I don't see how they can be that bad.

Here's my take on it.
I can take shit off anyone here, no problem.
But there's other's who can't, I don't think that means their disfunction or anything it's life. But if they complain about it their called cry babies, catch 22 !.
So it's up to other's to try to defend them alittle.
If you call a guy here, little cock, pencil dick or other such shit we can all laugh and joke about it. After all it's all 'locker room' humour, however when you call a lady 'cow tits', 'saggy arse', 'fat cunt' and worse (these are names which have been used here) these become very personal for a woman. Because like it or not, men and women ARE different !.
Awhile back it was the gay members who got the shit. Again their called cry babies for complaining. But can you imagination to hurt which their sexualty caused them before they came to accept themselves for the people they are ?. They when their comfortable, when their family and friends realise their just 'normal' anyway, they come on here to have it all fucked back in their faces.
Anyway for the record I liked alot of those guy's, particularly may1010, although we locked horns from time to time. I thought he could have offered e/f alot as he was a bright guy, but he did cause alot of disruption here. He must have know his time would come and probably took the "it'll never happen to me" line. Maybe these guys should just be 'sin binned' for a time before a total ban ?.
So there's my take on it. I'll take the shit, but I'll stand toe to toe with my buddy if he can't !.

the administration doesn't just ban people. a majority of the people "in charge" usually agree it is in best interest of the board to ban whoever.

and if it makes u so mad that the board bans people you can leave. why stay on a board you don't agree with right? you are the cry baby right now.

people get banned when they go too far, that was the case in all the bans. leave it at that. as i have said before if you miss that much trade phone numbers or just email each other

I havent been on much the past day and did not know a bunch of people got banned.

As far as getting banned, if it is in the best interest of the board then do it. But the only thing is that I see alot of the people who want someone banned including a few mods who are being just as unreasonable or idiotic as the people they want banned.

There's a big distinction between having fun/ridiculing and making slanderous comments about another board member. The former is acceptable, the latter is absolutely NOT!!!
