I am wondering what the bennifits of baking your gear is? Also how long and what temp? K for any possitive feed back

250 degrees for about 15-20 munutes. Put a needle in the rubber stopper to relieve pressure.

baking gear does nothing at all. Filter it will a .2 micron sterile and add BA.

yeah bro...the pain from my BD prop is crazy!! So you are not worried about heating up gear and loosing some of the BA which keeps it sterile?
Could it become un-sterile?

i had some vets and mods on another board recommend it to me, so im guessing it is ok

it worked great for me.
in addition to baking the gear, make sure you apply heat and message injection site too. pain almost completely gone

thanks for the input guys. Thats what i want to do is take the pain out. I have heard sust is painful though iv never tried it

sust isn't too bad for me...took first shot in the right glute and three days later felt nothing..the first two days it was sore and felt tight and cramped but it didn't affect my daily routines. I know some guys put the gear in a bowl of hot water for a couple of minutes prior to injection to ease the pain...hope that helps..bump for more.

then yes, baking will remove BA and make it less painful. Careful not to remove too much though.

A safer way to reduce pain is simply to cut your gear with sterile oil.

After 4 weeks of use, saw some floaties in my NPP (no problems yet though) so i want to bake to kill off anything that may have gotten in there. Ive heard 300 degrees for 25 min (autoclaves are at 250 but also pressured, which you need to account for).
