let me explain to y'all just how bad ass that is.
each gatlin gun (25mm cannon) fires 1800 rounds a minute. there's 2 next to each other.
there is a 40mm grenade launcher that fires something like 3 rounds a second. imagine someone launching hand grenades at you that fast.
the other weapon is a 105mm fucking cannon. it can fire a round about every six seconds. 105's are usually cannons that you see being towed by vehicles.
there is no gunner. the aiming is laser controlled by a console in the middle of the plane. there is a guy whose sole purpose in life is to shovel up spent shell casings (like from a machine gun) off the floor and ditch them out of the plane.
this is truly the weapon from hell. i've heard the gatlins fire. it can be heard for fucking miles. and they fire so fast, it doesn't sound like a gun at all. it sounds like the goddamn earth is ripping open.
it's nicknames are "puff" and "spooky". i'd say it's fucking spooky.
