bad reaction to injection

A week ago I did my last injection of cyp for a 10-week cycle. I've had irritation and swelling a few times on this cycle. I am always meticulous with hygiene when doing my shots.

I injected in my left glute a week ago and got pain a couple of days later but a few inches over between my butt cheeks near the small of my back.

It has gotten worse and is now actually hard to the touch, almost like a knot.

I was wondering if these symptoms were familiar to anyone and if I could get some advice.

I feel fine otherwise - no other symptoms.

Yea well it might have nothing to do with the cycle. It just might be a Pilonidal Cyst. These happen right at the base of the spine. And are PAINFUL. This type of cyst is a form of abscess and needs to be treated by a doctor. Go to a doc and tell him nothing about your cycle. Just say you have a pain in this spot (Show him by pointing at it ) and say a friend said it might be a Pilonidal Cyst. At that point he will start to feel around a bit. If he says maybe it is he will give you a local and start to cut. DON"T LET HIM START BY CUTTING YOU!!!! When he grabs his butcher knife ask him politely if he would do his exploring with a syringe with an 18 gauge needle ( that's why he want to cut you to see if he finds puss). If he finds puss with the syringe he can then start cutting. If he starts with the butcher knife your backside will be all cut up. If he gives you any shit like he knows what he is doing and wants to cut you up tell you to stop. And then say you want to go to a real doctor, one that can still learn better ways of doing things. Just tell him straight up you don't look for puss with a scalpel you look for puss with a syringe. And fuck him if he doesn't want to do that. If you don't tell him that your backside will look like someone has been digging for treasure with a small shovel. Oh yea, be prepared to bleed a lot also.

If it makes you feel any better i did a shot of test e in my quad and i swear it felt like I got hit with a sledgehammer and my entire knee was so swollen and filled with fluid. I freaked out everyday and even thought that if I didn't go to a doc soon I might have to get my leg amputated. LOL. It lasted about 10 days, then just went away on it's own and everything is good now. Just give it a few days, pay close attention to everything, and if no healing is occurring go see the doc.

this sounds like what it is - it is right at the base of the spine.
