Bad joints? Try this simple solution

My knees have been hurting particularly bad since the beginning of the year. They audibly cracked every time I squatted down. Also, I'd get sharp pains in them if I attempted to cross my legs. Since I've been seeking advice on the problem, I was repeatedly told that some AS like deca, which makes one retain water could help. So, it seemed to me that the culprit was lack of water consumption.

I never thought that I didn't drink enough. I was drinking approximately a half-gallon, which I thought was adequate. The past 4 days, I've been drinking at least 2 gallons per day, and I tell you, my knees have never felt better. Now, I wouldn't say they're 100%, but they are on the way. I'd like to see what a few weeks like this could do.

This may not work for you, but you should probably be drinking plenty of water anyway.

Drinking more water won't make you hold more water. If anything it will help flush water out of your body. It must be coincidental that your knees feel better.

There's no way this can be coincidental. Yesterday, I tested this. From when I woke up, to around 5PM, I didn't drink any water and I started to feel stiffness and my knees continually were cracking just as they were before I started my extra water consumption.

Must be something else....many people here that are on AAS drink MORE water so that they don't HOLD as much. Of course if you are not getting much water at all.....your joints will get no lube.

J-ro has a valid point.. water has a huge efefct on joints and many other fucntions!

there is a great book called "our thirsty body and it's cries for water" awesome reading!!!

water + sodium=releif of joints...not water alone!!!it is for this reason that many lifters increase their water and sodium consumption during the off-season...hence,the bloated look as well...
