I bought a new car from there last weekend. I ordered the alarm/keyless entry/remote start package with the car. Well, the girl put me down for just the remote start and keyless entry w/ no alarm. After I figured this out, I called to have it changed. Went back and paid the difference and got my paperwork. NO BIGGIE. Or so i thought. The manager then proceeds to tell me that I need to call the next day and make sure I speak to someone in the service department so that they know I made a change. THis way I'll get the alarm installed. IS THIS MY JOB TO DO THAT, OR HIS? Anyways, im cool... i call and confirm the order was changed. called twice as a matter of fact. Go to pick it up today......... NO ALARM. I go get the same manager and tell him theres no alarm. He tells me "you must not be working the remote right." lol... wrong thing to say.. So I invite him to come outside and show me how to work the alarm. He couldn't get it to work either.
... So we call the man who installed the alarm. He said he was never told the order was changed. So the manager then proceeds to BLAME me, saying that I should have verified that the service department was aware that my order was changed!!! AND I AM THE FUCKING CUSTOMER!!!!!!!! I verified with the installation scheduling lady that i was getting an alarm installed twice and she said YES THAT IS CORRECT.
Anyhow, to make a long story short.. everytime i call them about this problem i get the run around. i've paid for an alarm that hasn't been installed, and my remote start works 30% of the time.
I called the operations manager and left a voicemail. I told him that there are some idiots running his store, and that if it was possible at this point i'd get a full refund and go buy a damn car somewhere else.
