Why not just offer the guy some Oxycontin? My friend is a quackropractor and he bases his success on the barrage of bullshit he preaches to morons that buy into chiropractic's pseudo healing processes. Of course he tells me this in confidence and would never say it in front of his clients. He says people are so desperate for cures for the ailments thay they've acquired that they become hooked on getting adjusted like it's heroin. He doesn't feel a bit guilty about it since people's insurance cos pay for it a majority of the time.

Who knows? Maybe he's just an asshole??? I've met plenty of chiro's that genuinely believe in what they do-or at least in convincing me so???

I've gotten adjustments in trade for personal training in the past. I wasn't impressed. At least not enough to ever pay for them. Sublexation? WTF is that???

I always heard lower back probs were usually a direct result of a persons midsection(abs, obliques) not being in shape. I'm in my 30's and my back is fine. However I do 3-5 sets of crunches, side bends, and hyperextensions, daily whether I'm in shape or not. The majority of the guys I hear bitchin' about their lower backs have a gut and seldom do ab/lower back work-so I have to wonder if that's not the root of the problem?

I'm sure Deca would help-but if you're not making a conscious effort to strengthen and rehab your abs/lower back it's probably never gonna be 100%. Just my .02 cc's

Hi,
My knee joints and lower back discs have been tight for the past 10 years.Bought an inversion table to naturally stretch it all out-----it helps for a while until gravity compresses it all again.
I tried some DECA 3 months ago at just minimal dosages---100 to 200mg per week and without a doubt DECA has provided the most consistent relief and lubrication to all my joints of anything else i`ve ever tried.
DECA makes my joints feel like they did when i was much younger----it`s hard to believe just small maintenance dosages of deca can completely rid my joints of any stiffness at all.

I would never pay for it either, but it does feel good to get your neck and back cracked. I feel like a noodle for about 4 hours after leaving the chiros office. It's still a scam though. I would rather pay for a massage.

deca will not CURE your ailment it only masks the pain with the increase of synovial fluid...you can in fact do MORE damamge thinking you are cured when you only put a "Band-aid" on it.....

Especially when the massage is done by some hot Asian Girl and the "happy ending" is included in the fee!!!

What's chronic? Have you had an diagnostic work done? Has anything else happened to cause a flareup?

I've got 3 wedged vertebra (T11,12,13) and a pronounced scoliosis - and have had it for about 30 years. Causes a variety of issues for me, ranging from excessive strain on lower back muscles to a severe pull of the sternocleidomastoid muscle in the neck while shrugging (think audible pop followed by screams of agony). PT is a way of life, just part of taking care of myself. I found a good doctor who got me started on good exercises that keep my core issues in check.

Phukked up (that's a technical term) my left leg in a climbing accident in May 05. The muscle damage and therapy for the leg completely screwed up my back to the point where I couldn't walk some days in July.

In October, I was still unable to complete any workout due to the pain in my lower back. I couldn't even think about squatting or deadlifting as recently as the first week in November.

A little bit of deca enabled me to get back in the saddle. The exercises that hurt the most (squat and deadlift) have received a lot of attention - part of what I've learned is that the things that hurt my back the most are showing me exactly what I need to work on the hardest. Also focused a lot on stretching the hip flexors, adductors, hamstrings, and glutes.

I DL'd 225x6 on Xmas Eve, and squatted 225x6 and 255x1 this past Wednesday evening. My lower back is a little sore/tight, in exactly the area that was completely killing me before. Those aren't great numbers, even for me, but I now have hope that I can someday dl 500lbs again.

I wish that I didn't have to use the deca to get back into the game. But that was a personal decision to help me accelerate my recovery. As part of a recovery program, it helped me greatly. But that's the key thing IMO: it's only a part of the answer, and a small part.

Sorry for being so long-winded.

Good luck with your back.
