I stood outside with no coat thinking they'd be letting people inside at around 6:15..Show started at 7..Wasn't *too cold...then of course my luck they don't let anyone in till 7:15, and the temp must have dropped 10 degrees in that hour and 15. Oh well, that which doesn't kill you...Just gives you pneumonia.
Anyway..They played with In Flames, Depswa, and some other band. Audio quality kinda sucked, I can't stand when you can't really hear the vocals. The entire place was a pit for most of the songs Mudvayne played. I was in such pain the whole time as I have a bad lower back and plus my kidneys have been bothering me. I seriously don't know why I put myself through the pain. I welcomed the wrath of the pit with open arms cause my back got an awesome massage.
Anyway on to everyone's favorite part of anything, the time when you point out the people who were there and make fun of them...
First of all, there was a severe lack of hot chicks. Any half decent chick was 16, and there with their 10 yr. old boyfriends, who constantly have their arms around them and kissing whatever open space of flesh they can find of theirs any chance they get. it was sick, god I fucking hate that shit. Like seriously, save that stuck-up-your-ass crap for when you get home. This is a show. This is the time when other men are supposed to be "accidentally" groping your bitch, so give us some room at least.
The oddest thing I saw was this one stupid chick (No I don't know her or anything to say if she's personally stupid for real, but being she is female, that is the default description) who was all dressed up, and looked like she should be a manager (yes a manager not just a floor girl) at the Gap. She's bouncing around the pit like "Tee hee like OMG this is so funny LOL!" She had a look alike friend off in the background who was cheering her on. Just wasn't right.
Man I got some serious black tar crap stuck up inside my nostrils that's rubbing off on my fingers when I shove them up there to pick a winner. What the hell.
By the way, yes there were a few sightings of fat guys in their sweat soaked wifebeaters in the pit also. Just wanted to make sure you guys knew they were there.
