AZ needs some relief from Dubya

I hope after he sees the devastation here in AZ he will send some serious help this way. The 2 fires have become one and a wall of fire 50 miles across is still raging.

Over 330 MILLION acres of forest is torched ....517 sq miles (that is half the size of Rhode Island and a little bigger than LA), over 32,000 people have been evacuated (10 towns), 345 structures destroyed (171homes, 16 businesses, and 158 other structures). Fire is 0% contained.......animal shelters are getting filled up, Turf Paradise has given 2200 stalls for horses, the amount of giving that has gone on here is unbelievable. Truckloads of Gatorade, water, food, etc...... have been delivered.

I heard today that GW is giving us disaster area status. That should start some money flowing.

The fires are getting out of hand - the Okiefanokee Swamp at the Ga/Fla line has been burning since MARCH

Puttin it in perspective......this fire in AZ is 3 times as big and has only been going for 7 days. I guess that area catches on fire every year down there.

Yes but without the OKiefenokee, where will the Adams family go for vacations ?
