There is a BBC show that documents a British journalist that travels the world visiting countries like North Korea and Cuba.

There was one scene that shows how dumb Americans really are.

The British journalist spent a week in N. Korea without any problems and actually had a positive impression until he got on his flight home.

He happened to be sitting next to some American government food aid organization representative. This guy was complaining how he had just spent 2 weeks in a prison for making a joke about the N. Korean dictator.

He actually said "Why is the leader so fat while the rest of the people are so skinny?" Then after that verbal diarrhea he actually had the gall to say that the US should stop sending food to those pigs in order to teach them a lesson.

Not only was this guy dumb, but he also was arrogant enough to believe that he was right (and that he was treated improperly) because he made fun of the leader of a foreign country while he was there.

It is like a N. Korean coming to the US and saying that Bush is an idiot. He would not get arrested but he would probably get his as kicked.

SO true... I actually have had college classes with people from foreign countries who will sit and bash the U.S. and denigrate our leaders. I once told a Cambodian guy who was going off about the U.S. and how it tried to dictate to the world etc... to "go get an education in your homeland if it sucks here. The USA has a right to dictate whatever it wants when it continues to funnel money to your sorry ass country." That shut him the fuck up, but then I told him "You certainly have the right to say and think whatever you want here in the USA. In a dictatorship or some fucked up regime I could report you and have you thrown in a wood chipper. Thank whatever God you pray to that we are here in the U.S."

Of course if you break a law of another country you should face the penalty, it doesnt mean you cant laugh about it afterwards. The fact is these other countries are backwards. You live in canada which is like "America Lite." so you really havent made a real statement by leaving the US.
