lol. someone told me to take 2 grams of milk thistle......but i got the super duper standardized caps. they are 200mgs standardized at 80% active ingredient (silymarin). You all figure taking 4 of these ED is good?(while on heavy oral's) or too much. i figure the 2 grams is of the 500mg non-standardized powder form.....so 800mgs of the standardized should work?

Just use Tyler Liver Detox. MT is never been shown to protect your liver from 17aa drugs. The Glucarate in Tyler has.

what is glucarate exactly? and i here differing opinions on the milk thistle. every time i write it off, i hear a few people say they suggest it.

It aint worth it IMO.
Ala and tylers would be more than enough.

i got R-ALA, but tylers looks like a glorified antioxidant formula to me. i need an explanation as to what it has that is so effective. matter of fact I DEMAND and explanation! lol.

Milk thistle sucks but milk thistle extract seems to work well for me.

yeah, thats what i got. the standardized is just another word for the extract. with the active ingredient being silymarin. i am already taking 3 grams ALA or 1 gram R-ALA. so i figure to add the milk thistle in anyway since i get it dirt cheap at work.

Johnboy, it had to happen sooner or later! We agree on something, if MT does not work, wy=hy is it in the vaunted tylers? Frankly I think the most overlooked supplement here is n-acetyl cystein, it is probably just as effective as ala and does not upset your stomach. As far as mt is concerned, there are hundreds of studies that say it works, and it is cheap, why not?
