actually its not the actuall protein that makes you fart. i belive its when you make a dramatic change in your caloric inntake you tend to fart much.

I think this also. A mixture of proteins with a lot of carbs seems to make me the most potent, and when I up my food intake, watch out!
 
I actually don't want to cease farting. I enjoy the smell of them. Others may not but i live to please myself.
 
Yeah I like listening to them and the dont smell that bad. Theyre really loud after i down a half of gallon of milk.
 
I like dropping a really stinky one around other people, then wait for their noses to wrinkle up and their exclamations of disgust. Nothing makes me laugh harder!

Have you guys ever lit one on fire? Now that's some funny shit!

disagreed..i used to get terrible gas..i cut out protein shakes 100% from my diet and i never and i mean never had gas since

Man, I've been absolutely deadly the past few days. I had the entire gym- no joke- stinking to high heaven. The sales manager got seriously pissed at me when I let one in his office and walked away. Towards the end of the night, I stood in back of one of the big fans, pointed it towards a couple of newbies, and let a huge one go. I was staying entertained all night. I've been chowing down on ham and brown beans with cornbread all day today, so I think the fun is just beginnning!:FRlol: :FRlol:

I used to light farts in my younger days! Hell, I even lit some in front of my girlfriend(now she's my wife). That was fucking hilarious! She married me but some of the shit I did while I dated her (nothing to hurt her, just crazy shit) makes me wonder why she did!

I've been blowing off steam in this university library today. It's funny when you notice those old librarians coming in from lunch break and giving a little sniff to test the air, like they're not sure if that's a fart they're smelling or not.:D

the protein shakes probably just mean there was all kinds of wacky stuff they threw in there other than whey :)
 
i mean if you change it around..for instance if you have dieted down for 12 weeks. low carbs, high protein type of thing. then you wont fart much at all..but when you gradually start to bulk up, lower your protein and put in more carbs, then the farts come back...so to me its mostly when i change my diet up that shit "Happends"

If I eat lots of chicken breast, my farts smell exactly like chicken guts- I guess it's the mixture of the chicken with my guts.
 
i think increased gas happens 'cos any carbs undigested by your enzymes get muched on by the bacteria in your colon, and they produce the gas as a by product, so increasing carbs would mean more gas

the protein would add some sulphur to the mix... :D

I've always experienced the same thing. I've never understood why protein gets so much of the credit.
