Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with non plat peeps, but when they come in and think they own the front page without paying a dime to the site and the mods turn a blind eye, it's kind of a slap in the face to people who support the site and want to read something that is somewhat current.

If you vote on the poll, the thread will be bumped. If it's not a public poll, the only one who knows who did it would be the one who originally started the poll. i.e. someone who hasn't posted on EF for 4 years in some cases.

I'm really not trying to be a dick here, but I just think it's rediculous. I hope the powers at be take care of this influx of old thread as well. It's not original and it certainly isn't funny. It's spam in my opinion.

Agreed. It's a bloody nuisance when old polls get bumped. I think there should be a time-out on voting in a poll also bumping it. After a couple of weeks it should only get bumped when it gets a fresh post.
