Aspiration before injecting, Does it hurt

So far a friend of mine has been giving me all my shots but tomorrow i have to do it myself the first time. The question is, when i aspirate, i should not see any blood at all or a little blood is ok. Its the aspiration part that scares. Any suggestions.

Hey bro, the aspiration part is simple as can be. Just pull back and hopefully you will just see an air bubble or two come into the syringe. If you are in a vein or such...you will have blood pour in, not just a little drop, but actually rush into the syringe. Just always remember to do this!

when you pull the plunger back, the air buble will be in suringe... You let it go (the plunger), the buble is gone. Simple as that...
I would probably do for first shot somewhere where it is easily accessable, so you can actually see what you are doing (while holding suringe with one hand and pulling a plunger with another one).
It will be so easy, that tomorrow after you are done, you will be laughing at how scared you were.
I remember sweating extensively at my first shots.
Now for some weird reason I get horny when I administer shots to myself (gear or vitamins)...:D

Thanks a lot Bro, I really appreciate your encouragement. I'll let you all know, how it went. Thanks again.

The aspiration is to make sure you are not in a vein. It would take a lot more air than that to kill you. Somewhere around 20 cc in the vein.

I have only seen blood in the syringe one time. It is very obvious when you hit blood. The scary part was standing there with a syringe full of blood and juice and resticking myself in a new spot.

Was your friend aspirating? I hope he was. It doesn't hurt though, you should not see any blood.
