Asbestos or Mold causing me to get sick?

i've been to the doctors maybe 6 times in 4 years... three of them have been since january, when the building i work at had water damage come from the uppermost floor... the water seeped to the second floor to the basement (the floors i work on)...

the owner is a shitty landlord, she rarely if ever fixes anything... in fact we've had a leak above our kitchen for the entire time i've been there (2 years)... she hasnt had the building checked out for mold... the building was built in 1927 as a high school, so i know there is a ton of asbestos... i dont like being sick!!! i had pneumonia turn into pleuracy early this year, and i'm getting to that point again, i can feel it...

how can i force this bitch to do something without condemning my building? And yes, the kids breath this shit too.

You have rights as a tenant and there are many things you can do! Start by getting hold of the Lanlord and Tenant Act which applies to you where ever you are. Both mold and asbestos are extremely harmful, and no lanlord is permitted to let things like this go unaddressed.

i'm talkin to the doc about it tomorrow... if he says it's possible or likely then i'm calling someone in to test... if it tests out that mold is high then that bitch will have some repairs to make.
