Are you sick of the "SCENE"

Just curious are a lot of you sick of the scene. I feel like I need a change, but I don't know what. Going out partying and following the circuit gets old after a while. Same guys, same girls, same game. If it wasn't for the new music I think I would be over it. But I feel like I am at a point in my life when I don't want to exit the scene but I don't want to part of the scene. Anybody else relate to this.

It is very difficult to meet people when you do this. A lot of the people that I meet are either consumed by the scene or do not want any part of it. It is tough to find people that are sort of in the inbetween phase as well.

Think I will be doing more traveling as it gets colder. By doing this at least I will be able to meet and explore different things.

the scene SUCKS! i'm a little older then most of you and when i use to go out it was much better. now the guys are a bunch of dorks doing e or selling & trying juice for the first time. the girls are more interested in a bump then your name,dancing like there aerobic dancing(when did women stop dancing like women?) & you cant tell me they actually look good sunday mornings. if you think about it the scene revolves around drugs. dont let anyone tell you its about the music because thats BULLSHIT! have a great day!

I agree with you the scene revolves around drugs. Even though you are older it more than likely revolved around coke. The only upside to the drugs is it makes it easier to get with the girls.

goto dj's in belmar on sunday for happy hour. it will cost you only $3 for a drink to meet a girl. its easy there & you don't have to do CRACK.

Sick ? no. I agree that some people (especially those you find in pubs) are pathetic but I still enjoy a good night at a club followed by an after-hour.

im not sick of it at all. im startin to get sick of going to bars, i think thats why i like goin to clubs so much. im sure the scene isnt as good as it was before but im really enjoying it

Clubs here in Phoenix have changed dramatically over the last two years. Two years ago shit was fucking crazy. Crazy clubs, crazy people, better drugs. It used to be every weekend thing for almost two years. Now it's WAY more relaxed. 1 or 2 afterhours clubs now. None with any real music or DJ's.

Now we just wait for the big names to come. Check them out every month or two, and that's it.

So yes I'm sick of the "club" scene. Because it sucks now. At least where I'm from!

i think you guys have to face the facts, your just older, the scene is prob just as good, it's just that you guys are the ones that are changing and not enjoyin the same things at this stage in your life. The guys are no different now just because they're doing e or "trying juice for the first time". Have all the guys been juicin for years when you were going out? The music is good, and YES drugs are a big part of it, so what, it always was and always will be like this. No matter if you enjoy the current drugs of choice or not, and since when did people start doing crack at clubs and stopped consider alcohol a drug?

agreed. Your interests definitely change as you mature. More or less gradually, depending on the person. Unforunately, this fact seems to come between me and my boys at times.
