I'm a eugenicist in regard to my choice in a mate.

anyone familiar with dr. william shockley? i believe he won the nobel prize for helping to develop the transistor.

he later found more fame as one of the most outspoken eugenicists around. if memory serves, he advocated government incentives for low IQ people NOT to have children. not sure if he advocated sterilization. i remember him being quite controversial, mainly because of the racial element (not sure if it was tacit or openly expressed).

i remember reading an interview of him in playboy many years ago [yes, some people DO read the articles ] that i found fascinating at the time.

Eugenics is actually the art of good breeding. It was developed, believe it or not, in Canada. ACtually, in Saskatoon. The Canadians even confered with the Germans prior to world war 2 to confer techniques. Canada and the US practiced eugenics (the sterilization of "undesirables" up into the late seventies. Some pretty scary stuff.


And YES, I am a eugenicist.
