Are powder green drinks worth it?

I try to eat as much organic fresh vegetables when I can but sometimes life gets in the way. If organic real vegetables are rated 10 on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate organic green powder drinks? Assume they are better than not getting vegetables in your diet.

If good, any you recommend over others? Thanks all!

A good quality greens powder is a great supplement to take but it does not replace the need of having fruits and vegetables in your diet. Consider it as an added bonus. Certain brands will try to market their product as a replacement for vegetables because most Americans don't eat enough vegetables. That is completely untrue. You still need to incorporate fruits and vegetables into your diet. The greens supplement is just an added bonus.

The best quality greens products are based on green foods that you wouldn't normally include in your diet - sea plankton, atlantic kelp, wheat grass, chlorella etc.
Look for a greens product that is based on those. Other good things to look for in the greens powder are fibre supplements like inulin, probiotics and digestive enzymes.

I personally cytogreens by novaforme. http://www.novaforme.net/product/cytogreens/
The taste isn't amazing but it it's drinkable.

I add 1 scoop to my post workout whey isolate and carbohydrate powder shake every day.
