Anyone work for UPS? serious questions...

I had a mid-sized package stopped by UPS even before it made it to customs. I tracked it and the message said, "brokerage released, package on hold for goverment agency, waiting for customs."

What does that mean? What do you think could happen? This package has been sitting at UPS for three or four weeks now. There have been no attempts at delivery thus far.......

Wouldn't they have moved a bit quicker if any action was to be taken?

The last day that they tracked the package was on September 3rd. Nothing more after that.

very simple man call ups and ask them!!!!! they do use caller id so either block the number or call from pay phone.. i have dealt with ups and fed ex many times, no problem, just call and ask whats going on... i once called and they said customs wanted to talk to me and i said ok could you give me their number, of course i never called customs... so dont be a pusy, just call.......

Sounds Pretty Funny.......But than they have 2 packages that belong to me ( and that anit funny)...I hope they are getting very big !

well I use to work at ups and let me tell you many ups workers use steroids, maybe a package car driver or an employee heard about the package and stole it, or they are just holding it for the customs agents till they get a chance to look into it!!!!!!!!
