Anyone using Finasteride for prostate?

I wonder if people are sticking with the 5mg daily dosage for prostate shrinkage. This stuff gets expensive at that dose; I may need to find a cheaper source unless I can get by with less.

I do when I take test. I always take 5mg eod or 2.5mg ed. I think that the recomended dose is 5mg ed if you are taking more than a Gram a week of test.

I never take large doses of test; I just want to head off prostate problems since i'll be 40 next month. I'm trying to find the lowest dose that will still give me improvement in that area.

I use it but only a few days at a time, usually EOD for a week. I use UG tabs.

I've heard 5mg is the dose if your prostate is already enlarged.

As I undertand 1-2mg/day is fine for prevention.

I don't use finasteride at the moment, but i've been using saw palmetto for almost a year strait now.
