Anyone take Olive oil postworkout?

No! I rarely ever take olive oil or any form of fatty substance, in my postworkout meals, or within the next 2-3 hours after my post-workout shake because I consume high GI complex and simple sugars during the 1-2 hour frame after workout. It's not wise to consume fats when your insulin levels are high.
 
Fat slows absorbtion of protein, plain and simple, cut out the olive oil post workout, also take your post workout shake with non fat milk or water

I do the same thing except my last meal which would be about 3 hours after wo sometimes has olive oil or fats. Is that enough time? because I`ve already had the dextrose imm after wo and then another carb meal an hour later. Would I still have high insulin levels this way? thanks
