Anyone take Kava Kava? If so how much?

I have 250mg Kava Kava Extract. It says 30% Kavalactones 75mg
It says to take 1 cap 3 times daily but I am just wanting to take it on occasion to "relax" and or help me sleep. Just wondering what the dosage should be if I were going to take it just at night to chill out while sitting around.
