First of all, Perk and Lestat are banned from this thread, I know you have this video and watch it everyday before going to sleep... Hell, you must be super sour you missed the audition for it.

Anyway, some shock-rock going on, the song is about homosexuality and the video is, well, you have to see it.

They play it here on MTV (go figure).

[2] "Glied" can mean both "link" (of a chain) and "member" – that is, "penis".

[3] "Geschlecht" can mean many things: "sex", "gender", "family", "house", "generation", etc. It can also be short for "Geschlechtsteil" which means "genitals".

[4] The screaming ("Ah") has been combined with "Schwuler" to make "Schwulah". That, or it's similar to "playa" as opposed to "player", just changing the ending to sound "hip".
[5] Gegen and "gay gen" sound the same. The former means "against", the latter "gay for".

I just recall someone posting a video of some non english likely german speaking group with a lead singer(if you could call it that) screamo'ing lyrics, stripping, squatting, shitting, pissing and smearing it all over the stage and venue.

He was arrested afterwards for some reason.

As far as Rammstein actually singing about homophilia or pedophilia no clue why they do, because they are all said to be straight: Even the lead singer, Till Lindemann, has two daughters and used to be married. I remember reading in a newspaper claiming that he probably has had bad experiences with women. His former wife (Köseling) claims that he abused her. Last year he hooked up with a Spanish-speaking woman. All the other members: Richard Kruspe, Paul Landers, Oliver Riedel, Christian Lorenz, Christoph Schneider all have one or more children additionally to being either or were married.Hrmm..oh well.
