Yes, I saw it last week. It is definately darker than the previous Batman movies. The fight scenes are disappointing because they were too dark. I suspect its becuase they didn't have enough time to properly train Christian Bale in fighting arts. I also wanted to see more romantic tension between Christian Bale and Katie Holmes. Overall solid effort... way better than any other Batman movie... A-

This movie was better than Star Wars III, thats for sure. It had a "dark" side to it, which makes it a whole lot better than some cheesy comic book movie. In fact, there aren't many, if any, cheesy parts at all in this movie which is saying a lot for a cartoon adaption.

Apparently you never read comics or you would realize that this is what the character was intended to be... Hollywood likes to fucking destroy comic heroes and make them campy as hell.
