They keep telling us that there is going to be another attack on us from the towel heads. I actually have a fear in me knowing that there will be more people to die and I can't do anything about it. More people will die, it can be any one of us or someone we know...gone...at any time....It's kinda scary.

Too late, they are already here. Changing immigration process now does little- its not hard to slip over the Canadian border, or the Mexican border for that matter. It is a downward spiral that is long in the making. We have been pissing on a lot of little countries for a long time and now they are angry. Now we have to go back and play catch up. I don't think the people of the US will take such attacks with a grain of salt like the Isrealis. I think there will be alot of Vigalanteism sp? with many Civilians not trusting the government and taking matters into their own hands. What I find particually eery is that in this country so many the Muslim community support what happened on 11/9. I never have had much time for their fucked up religion but now I have no respect at all for these people.

Many muslims from the UK actually went to Afghanistan to fight and die there, so whats to stop them from commiting terrorist acts here. Of course any attempt to identify and deal with these people will be met by a cry of racism.

It's funny, I was talking to a Army Reserve about 7 months before the attacks and he kept telling me that they were training for Urban warfare and that the future of war's will be much different than what it used to be. No longer will dropping a few bombs be enough, the Army will be working hand in hand with the local police to fight the enemy...Maybe the Gov't knew something was up.

No, they've been saying that for years. Think about the battles in Somalia or Serbia. We weren't equipped to fight that kind of war. If you see Black Hawk Down, you'll see why the army has been saying this kind of thing for some time now.

I for the one, am very worried. I was in NYC during the last attacks, and I could see the WTC go down from the deck of my office building.

No.

The odds of me getting killed by a criminal on the street is far greater than by terrorism.


Will another attack happen?

Probably, and it worries me how Americans will handle it. I have friends that are of Middle Eastern descent and I fear for their safety if something happens.

You can't live your life afraid that everyone is out to get you. Most Muslims do not support terrorism, and all Arabs are not Muslim. People want an easily identifiable enemy, and in this case there just isn't one.
