anyone read Jack Kerouac?

Real good stuff. I've read "Dharma Bums" and "On the Road Again"
It give you a different view of 50s America. I'll give you some highlights:
Gangbangs, and getting loaded.
If that don't get you jerkasses readin I don't know what will.

Check out On the Road. Good read. Here's a quote

I read "On the Road" and couldn't wait until the book was over. I apparently don't get the beat poet genre. For me the plot wasn't linear enough and didn't like how it jumped suddenly from city to city and new characters would appear out of nowhere with no introduction or background. It got my panties all in a wad.

Lol. Yeah, it's pretty jumpy. But I thought it kind of captured the feeling of cruising around getting loaded pretty well. I had that sort of lifestyle for a bit. So I guess I could relate.
Did you like the part where he hooked up with the mexican bitch? I thought that was pretty funny.
 
Yeah, his hookup with the mamacita was entertaining as was the part about getting smashed on the back of that truck on the trip out west.
 
I've read most of his stuff. I liked the "Town" the best. a fictional autobiography.
