Which one did you like? I know it is not a literature master piece, but for me to take to the beach, it is ok.

What about you?

I just finished Phantoms. He sets a good mood in the first half, but overall it's OK.
False Memory and Fear Nothing were really good.
Sick Puppy (Carl Hiaasen) and Plum Island (Nelson DeMille) are great.

My favorite is Lightening.

I am reading Dragon Tears on the beach. My main complaint is that he gave away the source of the hobo far too early for my liking.

Lightening is good. A little different than his other books. No supernatural element to it.

READ" "LUCKY YOU" BY CARL HIAASEN. it is by far the funniest and best book he has ever written.

i have yet to read any of koontz books.. too many others to keep me busy. anyway, i usually stick to non-fiction.

couple good books i can recomend: "cosmos" and "the demon haunted world" by carl sagan. "sphere" by michael crichton. "animal farm" by george orwell. "roses are red" and "violets are blue" by james patterson... just about any book by the authors i mentioned are good.

I have never enjoyed James Patterson. His writing is too simplistic for my tastes. In Roses are REd, I figured out who the MasterMind was right away.

I have read EVERY and I mean EVER book Dean has published
since about 1976 and a few of the Older ones in different Pen Names recently republished...

My favorites are Watchers and Lightening... Definite Must reads.

I own about 12 of the best so I guess I'm a real fan.
His characters are Rich and Funny.
Watchers has some of the Scariest Scenes outside of S. King...
